Honeycomb Tunisian Top
This beautiful wardrobe staple can be dressed up for date
night on the town or brunch with the girls. A stunning
combination of a classic shape, cropped length, and a sexy
V-neck, created with a fusion of Tunisian Crochet texture and
classic crochet lace make this a must have blouse.
The blouse is created in two bottom-up panels, joined with
simple visible seaming, finished with the lace edging along
the bottom and shell edging on both sleeves using a smaller
hook. All this makes a flattering cropped length V-neck
blouse full of Tunisian Crochet texture.
Each row in Tunisian crochet is followed by a standard
return pass.
Ch 1 at the beginning of the edging round does not count
as a stitch.
With Tunisian Honeycomb Stitch (THS), you always work
a TPS into a TSS and a TSS into a TPS.
The edging is worked in the round, a slip stitch is used to
connect the last stitch of the round with the first, you do
not turn.
Each row in Tunisian crochet ends with an edge stitch to
keep the edges neat, you insert your hook between the last
vertical bar and the loop on the side, yarn over, pull up a loop.
When you bind off, do so in the texture pattern to create a
neater finish.
All decreases are worked in the THS pattern so if your next
stitch is a decrease, continue with the same stitch pattern,
just insert your hook under 2 bars instead and either work
a TSS or a TPS depending on your stitches.
