Honeypot Handbag
The honeypot handbag is a quick, fun project designed to use up scrap yarn from your stash. You can use DK yarn held triple, Aran/Worsted weight yarn held double, Bulky yarn (all on 9mm needles) or super bulky yarn (on 12mm needles).
Other materials needed:
-tapestry needle for weaving in ends and attaching bag strap
-circular or double pointed needles in the same size to make icord.
- extra knitting needle (any size the same or smaller) if completing 3 needle bind off.
It’s perfect for a knitter starting out who wants to try a new stitch pattern.
Bag strap is made to your desired length using an icord.
This bag pattern has written instructions so it can be knitted flat or in a round.
It can be seamed using invisible seaming or using three needle bind off.
For all yarn weights, the project uses approx. 100g yarn (or less).
Gauge is varies and all bag measurements are approximate because of the different yarn weights that can be used. Approximate bag sizing in pattern is 21cm x 16cm.
The bag size and strap length can also be adjusted to be larger or smaller.
