The Honeypot Bag

Inspired by the bag shown in The Beekeeper’s Quilt pattern. Perfect for keep all your stuffing and yarn bits organized and looking cute! ♥
Not a puffer? No problem! This bag is perfect for everything (and I do mean everything!) else you can think up! Throw in roving and a drop spindle, your latest pair of socks, or a colorwork project!
But don’t limit yourself to fiber crafts! Keep it next to your sewing machine to organize your charm squares and fat quarters, or use it for makeup brushes or hair elastics!
The pattern is made with TWO STRANDS of worsted weight yarn held together throughout. I used exactly 660 yards. You can also use about 350-400 yards of a chunky/super bulky yarn, rather than holding two strands together. I used size 6 needles to give a nice dense fabric that stands up by itself and doesn’t even need lining.
The pattern comes with instructions on how to make the bag, as well as a picture tutorial on how to work the pockets onto the bag (No seaming!).
The bag measures 6 inches high, and the main body of the bag (not including pockets) is 8 inches across. Including the pockets, it is about 12 inches across.
I used Knit Picks Wool of the Andes when I made my bag. I made it in the color “Teacup” which has since been discontinued. You will need six skeins.
