Ankle sock season coincides for me with the blooming of the honeysuckle flowers which fill the air with their sweet aroma and draw the hummingbirds into my garden.

This sock is knit top down with a heel flap and gusset. The folded stockinette cuff (no ribbing) is done with a 3 needle seaming technique. The pattern walks you through each step of the process, and provides links for tutorials to help with techniques you may not have tried before. It is written for 5 DPNs, but you may adapt for magic loop if you prefer.

Sizes: Women’s S, M, L
Gauge: 9 sts & 12 rows = 1” in stockinette st on larger needles.

Materials: Yarn: 48, 52, 65 grams sock yarn.

Needles: One set of DPNs U.S. size 1, one set of DPNs U.S. size 1.5, one 32” or longer circular needle U.S. size 1 or smaller.

Yarn info: The samples were knit in SockObsession Yarns Fairy Witchcraft colorway (purple), Atomic Fiber Co. in the Dash colorway (pink), and Witch Candy Yarn in the Birch Fire colorway (orange).
