Materials:

• 165/190 yards light chunky yarn, such as Malabrigo Mecha

• 22” US 7 & 8 (4.5 & 5.0 mm) circular needles (if you knit very tightly, go up a size)

• yarn needle

• sharp scissors

• recommended: one “main” stitch marker to denote the beginning of rounds, and several “tracking” stitch markers track repeats in the body section
