This is a pattern for a light weight wrap. It’s heavier than a shawl, but just the ideal weight for a spring or fall evening, or even if you’re sensitive to air conditioning in the summer. Since it’s made using DK weight yarn,it knits up fairly quickly and would make the ideal gift, for yourself of someone that’s special to you. It is made up of two different lace stitches that are both charted and written out line by line. Neither of the stitches is difficult, and together, they make a very pretty and unusual wrap pattern. The center stitch is a “true lace” stitch, but is very easy. If you’ve been wanting to try your hand at a true lace, this might be the pattern for you.
The final size is 22 inches X 74 inches. There are instructions for an optional edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged.
This is both a written and charted pattern
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)
The yarn used in the Honor by Lorna’s Laces in colorway, Courage, tested by “yours truly.”
