INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED FOR BOTH WORSTED WEIGHT YARN AND SUPER BULKY YARN!

Are you looking for an amazing Easter gift or just a special blanket to make someone? Then we’ve got you covered with this hooded bunny blanket pattern. This pattern will help you create the perfect gift for all of your loved ones. Instructions include options to make this blanket for a boy or a girl and with open or closed eyes. You can use either chunky yarn or worsted weight yarn. It is very detailed and there are pictures to help with assembly (which most of us would agree is the hardest part!). With these detailed instructions, even those with little crochet experience can find success creating their own masterpiece!

HOODED BUNNY BLANKET PATTERN DETAILS:
-Sizes: Small (42”x36”), Medium (54”x48”) & Large (66”x60”). You can also make this for a baby if you use a thinner yarn and go down a hook size.
-Skills: Single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch, basic increasing & basic sewing.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
-Hooks: You will need a 5.5 mm (I) hook & a 6 mm (J) hook for the worsted weight blanket. For the chunky blanket you will need a 9 mm (M) hook IF YOUR GAUGE MATCHES MINE!
-Yarn: You can use any brand of yarn, but you should check your gauge before beginning.. For a tip on how to save time when checking your gauge, check out my blog post entitled “Becoming a Master Gauge Checker: It’s a stinky job, but somebody’s gotta do it…”
1. FOR SUPER BULKY BLANKET
Bernat Blanket Yarn: For the main color you will need 660 yards for small, 1020 yards for medium & 1600 yards for large.
2. FOR WORSTED WEIGHT BLANKET
I Love This Yarn: For the main color you will need 1250 yards for small, 2052 yards for medium & 3078 yards for large.
For the baby blanket pictured I used a thin worsted weight yarn from Lion Brand Heartland.
-Polyester Stuffing (very small amount) & tapestry needle with large eye
-Pins are optional for placing pieces before sewing (I highly recommend this!)
