Designed for:

• furry friends with the CHEST circumference (around the widest part behind the front legs) up to 18.5 inches (47 cm), weighing no more than 18.8 lb (8.5 kg);
• 230-350 yards (210-320 m) of LIGHT or MEDIUM WORSTED yarn (US weight category 3 or 4);
• crochet density (GAUGE) from 16 to 23 stitches per 4 inches (10 cm), depending on the item size and the yarn weight.

Pattern contains a chart with the suggested GAUGE for each size.

ATTENTION: Depending on the breed, neck length, head size, face & ears shape, the hood will look different. Basically, the finished product should suit a small pet of average proportions. If your pet does not tolerate a hood well, it can be worn as a high collar.

Crochet skill level required:
‘INTERMEDIATE’ (EASY for those who are focused enough to count stitches carefully).

Crochet hook US 7 (4.5 mm) and 1¼ skeins of Alize WOOLTIME yarn used to crochet the hoodie shown in the picture for an average adult cat / small dog weighted about 8.8 lb (4 kg):
1 skein = 219 yds / 3.53 oz (200 m / 100 g),
75% Superwash Wool, 25% Polyamide.
In the item shown, the density of crochet is 20 stitches / 12 rows per 4 inches (10 cm) in dc BLO.

SUGGESTED YARNS:

• Red Heart CHIC SHEEP (2 skeins for larger sizes).
