You can wear this with the scarf hanging down or cross the scarf over and put it up and over the hood as in the photos.
This pattern has 3 rows of bobbles and several rows of ribbing.
The brand of worsted weight yarn that I used was Red Heart Supersaver but any 4 ply worsted weight yarn should work well.
