My mom needed a way to keep her neck warm while she lived in Iowa. That is what sparked the idea of a cozy way to stay warm. This scarf has an attached hood so no cold air can creep in. Using a Worsted Weight yarn with some wool, alpaca, llama or mohair will help keep you warm.
Some yarns can’t measure to the exact gauge. If the gauge is a little off it will still fit, so this make it easy for a new knitter where getting the exact gauge is not crucial. Any worsted weight yarn will work. Choose a yarn the fits your location and weather.
