Hooded Pocket Scarf
This PDF pattern includes written English instructions, as well as a pattern template and photos.
The Hooded Pocket Scarf is knit in a rope cable/fish-tail cable texture, giving it a heavy, chunky feel; with an oversized hood and pockets (perfect for tucking in a paperback, e-reader, small tablet or phone!). Instructions include tips for adjusting for size.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 7 balls of Alize Puffy yarn (3.53oz, 100g) (Image shown is the colour ‘310’). Any adjustments to the pattern for size may require more or less yarn.
SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Medium/Large. Pockets are 11” wide by 11” deep. Scarf is approx. 76” from end to end and approx. 28” from the shoulder down. Hood is oversized, approx. 19” tall and 13” deep.
PLEASE NOTE: Substituting yarn using Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ will yield a garment of similar dimensions, but you will need fewer skeins, because the skeins are larger.
You can also substitute with other loop yarns like Red Heart Loop-It or Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, but the loops are smaller and as such you will need more loops per row to achieve the same width, and more skeins.
