I had a request to design a Hooded Poncho with a Hood and buttoned on the sides. This is what I made and she fell in love!

This is a very easy pattern to do. Lots of mindless knitting for watching television or even reading a book if you read and knit at the same time.

You may make this longer and even wider if you want. That will take more yarn though.

There is positive ease in this garment. Easy to layer when you want to make a quick dash to the mail box or take the puppy out! Easy on and off and with the buttons on the sides the wind will not steal your body heat.

This is good for male or female so go ahead and make one for the man your your life to match your poncho.
