Body of Poncho is made in 2 halves. Each half is worked from the wrist edge to center of Poncho body. Halves are joined across front and back with a 3-needle bind-off.

Sts for the hood are picked up and hood is worked directly around Poncho neck.

A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of sts. Work back and forth on the circular needle as if working on straight needles.
