Hooded Scarf
In this guide, you will learn how to knit this hooded scarf in stockinette stitch with a lining, as well as what materials are necessary to make it.
Difficulty level - intermediate.
Recommended skills: magic loop technique, knitting and purling, increasing and decreasing, grafting technique.

Recommended yarn:
Basic yarn (A) = Drops Air + Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk, held together, for the hood and collar.
Drops Air (Aran, 8 wpi), 65% Alpaca, 28% Polyamide, 7% Wool; 50 g = approx 150 m / 165 yards
Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk (Aran, 8 wpi), 77% Alpaca, 23% Silk; 25 g = approx 140 m / 155 yards
Yarn (B) = Drops Air single strand for the lining and I-cord.
Amount of yarn used in the sample:
A - Green Drops Air 3pcs, ~120 g / 180 m / 200 yards
A - Green Brushed Alpaca Silk 2pcs, ~65 g / 100 m / 110 yards
B - Gray Drops Air 2pcs, ~60 g / 90 m / 100 yards
Additional tools needed:
Circular needles (cord length 80 cm / 32 in)
main needles: 5 mm (UK size 6, US size 8)
4.5 mm (UK size 7, US size 7)
4 mm (UK size 8, US size 6)
Stitch markers
Scissors
Contrast color yarn - approximately the same thickness as the main yarn for crocheting the braid (preferably stiffer yarn to make it easier to unpick the braid afterward). Additionally, you will need a scrap yarn or stitch holder.
Measuring tape
Tapestry needle for sewing knitting/weaving in the ends
Crochet needle ~6.0 mm (UK size 4, US size 10)

10x10 cm = 16sts, 25 rows in Stockinette stitch
