The elegance of the King Charles Brocade and Moss Stitch were the inspirations for the design of this enchanting hood. The Moss Stitch pattern frames the face and is the border surrounding the King Charles Brocade. The two patterns flow together where they meet. A classy I-cord is used for the drawstring and soft fluffy pompoms are optional. A short collar provides added warmth, tucks easily inside your coat, and is designed to keep the chill off the back of the neck. The hood frames the face with a neatly knitted edge stitch.

The pattern is in written form with instructions for knitting and assembly of the hood. There is only one seam. Instructions are included for knitting an I-cord. There is a bonus section that provides knitting instructions for increasing and decreasing the finished size.
