This is a basic vest pattern with a shaped hood. There is no “point” at the top of the head, which to me looks so much better. This is achieved by simple decreases.

The pattern requires two strands of yarn held together through out. For the I-Cord tie around the neck, choose either the solid or variegated yarn. Whichever one grabs your fancy!

I highly recommend using a variegated yarn and a solid complimentary yarn. Makes for an interesting look! Choose your own colors and go wild!

I used wooden buttons. To me they just seemed to fit with the design; however, use whatever buttons you want to.

The Med/Lg fits my size 14 frame just fine while the X-Large has more than enough room!

Thank you for choosing my pattern and don’t hesitate to contact me with questions or comments.

Many thanks to Colleen for testing this pattern for me. She used some beautiful blues!
