♦ This DIGITAL knitting pattern is available only in ENGLISH.

Using the suggested materials, this pattern will guide you through the process of knitting a hoodie, which is approximately 5.5cm wide across the neck and 7.5cm wide at the hem. It is approximately 7cm in length from the neck to the hem (not including the hood)

The hoodie uses a similar stitch count to Claire Garland’s Frog sweater, so if you’ve made one of those in the past you’re all set!

♦What you’ll get:

A Digital knitting pattern in PDF format - 11 pages long with high resolution, full colour images.

A printer friendly version of the PDF, which does not include any images.

♦What is NOT included:

The frog itself - that pattern was written by Claire Garland of dotpebblesknits. https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1160794362/frog-knitting-...

Instructions for the Crochet backpack seen in some of the listing images - this will be available as a separate download at a later date.

Shoes- If you’d like to purchase shoes similar to those in the picture, there are many options on Etsy.

♦ Included in this pattern:

Instructions for a knitted hoodie with functional pocket and hood. Designed for flat knitting on 2 needles with some seaming at the end (sleeves and back seam) and kitchener stitch to finish the hood

♦ Lots of how-to images for each step, to help guide you through the process.

♦ Video links to helpful YouTube videos that support the written explanations for all techniques required, beyond knitting basics.

♦Options and suggestions for alternative methods for some sections that a beginner may find difficult.

♦Materials list:

• DK weight yarn or yarn in a similar weight to that of your frog (for the Etsy listing example I have used stylecraft Special DK in the shade “Silver” and the images included in this pattern use the shade “Spice”)

• A pair of straight knitting needles for the main body and a second set (or dpns) in the same size
for working the pocket (I used 2.75mm needles and matching 10cm dpns but you should use needles the same size as those you used for your frog)

• Scrap yarn or stitchholder (for the pocket)

• Tapestry needle with a blunt tip for seaming/Kitchener stitch and weaving in ends

• Scissors

• Thin cord or similar for making the hood drawstring (I used a small length of DK weight cotton yarn)

• optional: crochet hook in the same size as your needles for adding the sleeve cuffs and hem.

NOTE: Please don’t confuse this KNITTING PATTERN with a finished product - This is a listing for a DIGITAL pdf file and I cannot give refunds for such instances.
