Hope
Hope is knit in a slightly unusual manner. The center lace and cable section are 3 separate panels started individually, then joined and worked together in one piece, bottom to top. Sides are picked up along a slipped st. edge and worked using k2tog to create the lower angled edge.
Tassels are optional, but a convenient spot to add them is there.
Pattern is in Charts only, experienced knitter should be comfortable working this shawl.
Materials needed:
1000 yds. Sport Weight yarn, Miss Babs Yummy 3-ply was my choice, and always a great one. Family is the color used.
#5, 4.00mm. Knitting Needles.
4 Markers.
Tapestry Needle.
Finished size after blocking 21” down the middle back and 85” across the shoulders.
