• The Hope Poncho is a chunky colorful poncho. This little detail will help you to add a little zest to your everyday outfit.
• Working on the poncho design, I was inspired by vintage style clothes. About ponchos color choice- I would like to add some spring and some hope that everything be ok in Ukraine, where I’m from.
• The design idea combines the old times traditions of wearing capelets and shawls as part of a daily outfit. Also the modern women desires to be closer to nature and wear simple and cozy clothes without any buttons.
• The capelet knitting process is simple and fast knitting adventure. After going through this adventure, you will receive nice and cozy thing for yourself or for your lovely mom, sister, aunt or dear friend.

• Poncho is knitted from the bottom to neck in one piece.
• The knitting process includes 2 parts:
First part- Body- Cast on and knitting of 17 rows from the bottom to top of one piece detail.
Second part-Cowl –3 groups of Decreases in WS row.
• The poncho is knitted of one color mix of super bulky yarn You can use any other different options of yarn colors.
• You can adjust yarn weight and needle size as you please, noting size may vary.
• Note: As you increase, when there are too many stitches to fit comfortably on shorter circular needle, change to longer circular needle.
Difficulty Level: Beginner. You should be able to comfortably use technics: knit & purl, cast-on & bind-off, decreasing, garter stitch. But the detailed video tutorial for all technics used during the knitting process is added.

• You need 1 skein =115 yards (105 m) of Frizzy by Yarn Art (77% Acrylic - 20% Wool - 3% Polyester ) 150 gr/5.28 oz 105m/114.83 yds color #412 or near 114 -120 yards of any other super bulky (super chunky) yarn 5-6 wpi
