The pattern was originally published under the name Walnut Square, in the printed Haverhill Collection leaflet. It now appears in the book MODERN COUNTRY KNITS as the Hopewell Hat.

A single cable travelling up the slightly slouchy hat and fingerless mitts make this set a stylish pair and a fun knit.
