This fun and highly dimensional bead crochet necklace is made using the slip stitch method of bead crochet. It is crocheted with both Japanese size #8 seed beads and size #11 seed beads. The necklace is crocheted 14-around, and the sample is finished with a manufactured clasp. There are also instructions for making your own beaded bead cap contained within the pattern. This pattern will easily go from day to night, and will be equally versatile when using different colors than the one in the example.

Any steel crochet hook between 1.5mm and 1.8mm should work for this pattern just fine.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a good working knowledge of the slip stitch method of bead crochet).
