Yarn

50 g of aran weight yarn, app. 80 m (87 yds) per 50 g. The sample (size L) was knitted with HipKnitShop Hip Wool in colourway Foxy Grey, (100% Wool, 80 m/ 87 yds per 50 g) and used 40 g.

5 mm/ US 8 (60 cm/ 24 inches or longer circular needle, or straight needles or size to obtain gauge markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

16 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches in pattern after blocking, stretched.
