Horatio is a nautically inspired, striped sweater/jumper knitted seamlessly in the round from the top down. It is a simple knit that assumes only a knowledge of knit and purl stitches, so is suitable for a beginner knitter.

Instructions are fully written out and include details on how to make the stripes smooth (avoiding the usual jog of stripes knitted in the round). A schematic diagram is also included and the pattern covers 5 sizes (0 – 3 months, 3 – 6 months, 6 – 12 months, 12 – 18 months and 18 months – 2 years). All measurements are given in Metric as well as Imperial units.

Horatio is suitable for sport or light DK weight yarn, making it a quick knit. Suitable for a beginner knitter.
