A fun horse and unicorn puppet pattern for the little ones in your life! Sized for kids 5 and up to play with, this puppet is a snug fit for parent-sized hands. Easy to construct, the only sewing you need to do is to attach the arms in the openings, everything else is crocheted seamlessly. These puppets are designed using Bernat Blanket yarn, about 100 grams (or 1/3rd of the big ball) is all you need, with a small amount of contrasting colour for hooves. For the Unicorn shown in the main picture, two full stripes of Bernat Blanket Stripes made the whole main colour of the body, and a small amount of a different stripe colour made the hooves. Use any yarn you like for the mane, shown here is one in scraps of Bernat Blanket, and the horse is in Caron Simply Soft. Note that apple prop in photo is not part of the pattern.

Materials:
-Bernat Blanket yarn in body colour, and contrasting hoof / horn colour if making unicorn
-L hook (8mm),
-K hook (6.5mm)
-G hook (4mm)
-Worsted weight yarn for finger pocket - can be the same colour as your puppet body, or any colour, as it will be hidden
-contrasting yarn of any type for mane and tail
-a small amount of worsted weight yarn or embroidery thread for smile and nose
- safety eyes 12 mm
