This pattern works up to make the Arms and Head that can be used with ANY blanket pattern to make a lovey! It works up for use with a LARGE lap-sized lovey, measuring AT LEAST 22-24 inches across. Pick your favorite blanket pattern and work that up first, then use this pattern to make the Buddy. When all the pieces are finished, sew the Buddy to the center of the blanket and VIOLA! -- you have a fantastic Blanket Buddy!

The stitches used in the pattern include sc, hdc, dc, chain, dc2tog and sc2tog. And “he” can be made into a “she” just by changing your color choices.
