I’ve been always fascinated by the elgegance of horses…
As the horse beanie became very popular I longed for a matching scarf to go with it.
And as loop scarves or infinity scarves can be seen everywhere I thought I give it a try.
There are three different horses on it, the bands divided by a little easy-to-knit horseshoe chart.
I knit the horses in two colors (light brown and black), but you can certainly knit them in your favorite colors or your favorite horse colors.
You can only use two colors (e.g. black and off-white through the whole scarf).
The horses are bigger this time ;-)
So there was more room for detail.

There is a running (black) horse with flying mane, a prancing horse and one just jumping round the meadow -head down, tail up, enjoying him-/herself!

It will take some time to knit it but in the end …
everyone will envy you for this great and unique horse scarf!

The scarf is completely knitted in the round and grafted together in the end. I used 4-ply sock yarn. You can use Acrylic yarn or Merino yarn of similar weight (214 - 230 yards/50g). Anything similar will do.
Gauge is not that important.

You can also make it longer or shorter if you like or turn it into a plain simple scarf and close the ends afterwards and put tassels or a fringe at both ends.

Hier ist nun mein Loopschal für Pferdefans! Drei unterschiedliche Pferde (die sind diesmal auch etwas größer ausgefallen ;-) also mehr Platz für Details findet Ihr darauf.
Die Farben sind Euch überlassen. Ich hab mich für hellbraun und schwarz entschieden.
Dazwischen verläuft eine Hufeisenbordüre.
Der Schal wird komplett in Runden mit der Rundnadel gestrickt. Es gibt also keine Rückseite… Am Ende wird er dann mit dem Maschenstich zusammengenäht. Ich hab dafür 4-fach Sockengarn verwendet. Ihr könnt aber auch jedes andere 4- bis 5-fach Garn Merino- Acrylwolle verwenden.
Je nachdem fällt der Schal dann etwas breiter oder schmäler aus.

Ihr könnt ihn auch offen lassen und mit Fransen oben und unten zum einfachen Schal machen.
