Easy knit project, good for a beginner or intermediate level knitter. Easy to follow chart included. Directions included for adding soft flannel lining.

Skills needed: knit, purl, increase, decrease, cast on, bind off.

You will need one large skein of worsted weight yarn - your color choice, 300 to 350 yards depending on the length of your scarf. Additional scraps will be needed for a mane, tail, eyes, and nose.
Size seven needles - straight. Tapestry needle. Crochet hook (for the mane). One to two yards of cotton flannel fabric and sewing needle and thread.
