This afghan stitch pattern was originally designed as a Christmas gift for my cousin. She is crazy about horses and this pattern was customized specifically to look like her horse. The pattern includes written instructions as well as a color chart. I’ve also included instructions on how to create the pillow as well as how to customize it.

For those who don’t enjoy utilizing the afghan stitch, the chart can easily be used for cross-stitch, or other colorwork techniques used in knit and crochet.
