A very quick-to-knit cable pattern hat.
This is too small to be knit on regular circular needles so you can either use double-pointed needles or the magic loop method. I made it for a 3-month-old but it could easily be made smaller or bigger by adding or taking away repeats of 10 stitches. The hat uses only a small quantity of the yarn so you will have plenty left over.
