I wrote this pattern back in 1996 for the Happy Trails Socks Book. At that time there were no other similar sock patterns for Horseshoe lace that I could find, and I wanted to do an easy lace sock, this lace being a long time favorite of mine was a natural choice.

Happy Trails Socks was a booklet available from the Wooly West. The book is now out of print.
