Horsetail is a toe-up sock with a heel-flap heel--but the heel flap is integrated into the heel turn, so there’s no need to pick up stitches!
I designed this pattern to give you just a little bit of interest while knitting with self-striping or patterning yarns.
The wide opening cable on the top of the leg reminds me of the pattern’s namesake.

This pattern is currently charted only--I am working on a separate file that will give you the written directions.

This pattern has not yet been test knitted--it’s also my first published sock pattern, so be gentle :)
