The Horsetooth Pullover is a worsted weight, top down, raglan-style pullover worked in the round. It features ribbed hems and includes instructions for long or short sleeves. This seamless pullover is a wonderful basic for any gender in 20 sizes from children’s newborn-12 years to adult XXS-5XL. A great first sweater for beginner sweater knitters or as a blank slate for experienced knitters.
Sizing Info: (choose size with 0-2” of positive ease)
Children’s: NB(3-6m,6-12m,1,2,4,6,8,10,12) years
Adult: XXS(XS,S,M,L,XL,2XL,3XL,4XL,5XL)
Approx. Finished Measurements:
Chest: Children’s:16(17.7,19.5,21.3,22.2,24,25.7,28.4,30.2,32.8)”,
Adult:33(35,37,40,43,46,50,54,58,62)”
Gauge: 18 sts x 24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch in the round on larger needles, blocked.
Materials:
Yarn and Yardage: Stonehedge Fiber Mill Shepherd’s Wool Worsted (250 yds per skein, shown in Great Lakes) 1(1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5), 5(5,6,6,6,7,7,8,8,8) skeins for long sleeves or equivalent yardage of worsted weight yarn.
Needles: Size US#6(4mm) and US#8(5mm) or size to obtain gauge on the largest needle:
Sizes NB-1: 16” circulars in both sizes and a set of dpns in both sizes.
Sizes 2 years-adult XXS: 16” and 24” circulars in both sizes and a set of dpns in both sizes.
Sizes XS-5XL: 16” and 32” circulars in both sizes and a set of dpns in both sizes.
Notions: Tapestry needle, 4 stitch markers (one a different color for BOR), scrap yarn, tape measure.
