This is a slipper sock pattern for the whole family. It comes in 7 sizes:

6-12 months, 1-3 years, 4-6 years, 8-12 years, small Women’s, medium Women’s, Men’s

Materials: 100 (100, 100, 200, 200, 200, 200) g 10 Ply ( Worsted weight) yarn in your chosen horse colour.

I used Cascade 220 Heathers.

Remnants of red, white and black yarn for eyes and halter.
Remnant of novelty fur yarn for mane. Try Lion Brand Fun Fur.

Knitting needles: DPN’s 3.75 mm or US 5 darning needle
The combination of the thicker yarn with the smaller needles created a cosy, hard wearing knit, just right for warm slipper socks.

You can make plain slippers using this pattern also. Just omit the embellishments.

This pattern is knit in the round.
