Hortensia Wrap Cardigan
The Hortensia Wrap is a seamless wrap cardigan which is knit top-down. The front band is knit at the same time as the rest of the garment so absolutely no seaming is required. It is a classic fit, designed to be worn with approximately 0”/ 0cm of ease at the bust. The wrap is inspired by ballet cardigans and gets its name from Hortensia Road in London where the English National Ballet School is located (plus hortensia is another name for hydrangeas which are one of my favourite flowers!) A versatile piece that looks equally good with leggings for a barre or yoga class or worn with dresses or ripped mom jeans. The Hortensia Wrap would be a great first cardigan or first set in sleeve design due to its simple stocking stitch texture.
