星 (“hoshi”) is the Japanese word for “star”.

This is a pattern for fingerless mitts featuring the crab stitch and star stitch using 2 colors. They are designed for smallish to average-sized women’s hands.

I don’t have an exact yardage measurement. I’ve estimated it as about 125 yards (2.50 oz), though you may want a little more than that to be safe. Probably between 120-135 yards.
