5 Balloons with baskets are joined using a cord made from chains. Each balloon is made by making the middle panel then working either side to form the shape.

This is a versatile pattern which can also used as applique. Make as many balloons as you like in any color combination and sew to a cushion, curtain, bag, scarf, hat or draft excluder.

Tension is not important but balloons can be blocked or stitched to felt backing if preferred.

Can be made in any color-way you choose (for example ice cream colors)
