The Hot Dish Bonnet is a super bulky knit that is a great way to use scrap yarns and to be able to play with color. The pattern comes in the following sizes: baby (0-6, 6-12), toddler, child, teen/xs adult, and adult.

The pattern is written using four-colors, but it can easily be adjusted to use two or more. The splashes of patterned color are create with mosaic knitting, these accent colors can have an additional thin yarn added to them to create a thin accent. With the varied color options, each bonnet is truly one of a kind.

The bonnet style is a great fit and feel, and it gives more leeway in fit than traditional beanie styles. This is especially nice for baby and toddler sizing to be able to have a longer window of use.

The pattern includes a bonus bootie cuff in Hot Dish style. It works with the Meraki Booties by Karysha Clarke of Isle Stitch.
