Hot Water Bottle Covers
When you get this pattern you are getting 3 patterns in one PDF. You are also getting a formula telling you how to make this pattern on all gauges of the loom using the basic hot water bottle measurements.
You get a chart for the blue and pink versions of the hot water bottle covers.
There is written instructions for the 3/8” gauge and 1/2” gauge looms.
You get a basic video tutorial on how to make one with no special stitch patterns.
This is a great guide to send your imagination wild with whatever stitch pattern you want.
You will need a long universal loom with 2 wedges or you can use the large x loom in any gauge for this project as well. You just need a loom with a 2 peg wedge or even a single peg wedge to decrease.
The amount of yarn depends on your gauge you choose to use. I used a dk weight and used probably about 200 yards for the 3/8” gauge.
It is slightly more than the amount you would use to make a slouchy hat.
You will also need a 7” zipper.
