SUGGESTED YARN:
Any fingering/sock yarn will do! This project is an amazing scrap buster so get all your odds and ends together.

SIZES:
Finished sock circumference: 6.5” (7.25”, 8.25”, 9”, 10”)
I recommend choosing a size approximately 1-1.5 inches smaller than your foot circumference – this will give you nice negative ease and prevent a baggy sock.

If you are a seasoned sock knitter, I recommend rounding up the size you usually make for this pattern – colourwork socks don’t stretch very well. Example: I typically make a 68 st circumference sock, but for my example pair I used the 72 st size.

YARDAGE:
Please note that yardage will depend on how tall you want your sock, and your shoe size. Yardage approximations are based off a 5 inch cuff and a foot length of 10 inches.

MC: ~ 50 (55, 60, 65, 70) g – 166 (183, 199, 216, 232) yards

CC: Approximately 2 g/stripe ~32 (34, 36, 38, 40) g total – 106 (113, 120, 126, 133) yards total

Stripes are approximately 1 inch long.

GAUGE:
35 st/40 rows over 4” in stockinette in the round

NEEDLES:
2.5 mm double pointed needles
Optional: 2.5 mm 9 inch circular needles
