Hotel Metropol Shawl
This pattern is not currently for sale on Ravelry -- it was previously a Patreon-member exclusive pattern.
Join the Hygge Canyon Circle this winter (2022) as we explore Amor Towles’ A Gentleman in Moscow through Russian diamond-and-arch lace, textured stripes, and miliatry-inspired welts in an asymmetrical color block triangle, perfect for wrapping yourself up against the snow.
Yarn
You’ll need two (2) 100 g skeins of fingering weight yarn and two (2) 10 – 20 g mini skeins. When selecting colors, I recommend solid or very lightly speckled colorways to show off the textures in this shawl.
Sample shown in Six and Seven Fiber, Amaranth 100% Non-SW Merino. 436 yds/100 g and 87 yds/20 g.
Main Color 1 (MC1) and Contrasting Colors 1 & 2 (CC1 & CC2): June 2021 Color Theory Club.
Main Color 2 (MC2): Au Lait.
Approximate Yardage
MC1: 290 – 350 yds
MC2: 250 – 280 yds
CC1 and CC2: 20 – 30 yds each
