Design-as-you-go is a basic pattern suitable for all yarn weights from fingering to bulky. You calculate your gauge and cast on, as well as various facets of the pattern.

The chart provided works in any gauge in 2 Colors. The ribbing options are 2 x 2, 1 x 1, twisted 1 x 1, and folded or flat brim, with two option for decreases (standard 4 pt and even sections).
