Hound's tooth Tweed Scarf
Try this traditional pattern with a Bias twist. As you can see the level is “FUN” not “HAPPY”. It’s because you do need to pay attention to the stitch you knit. It’s not difficult but it does require a bit more attention. You can not be sloppy on this one.
I am happy to say: It works beautifully!
The stitch “Knit one Below (K1b)” can be FUN.
Years ago, I knit a sweater with this pattern. I have lugged it and loved it. After I packed it away again the last spring, I just can’t stop thinking about this stitch pattern. Since I have done many shawls which start knitting on the Bias, so I decided to try this stitch pattern on the Bias also.
The Sample are slightly variegated in color (blue and slate gray). I would say any finger wt yarn will do. The scarf can be somewhat wider and/or longer after blocked, but I was so excited to share with you that I can stand to knit any longer.
Here I just finished the second scarf: Pink and Black.
Happy knitting.
