Learn to crochet the Houndstooth Pot Holder (a.k.a. trivet or hot pad), so you can use it in your kitchen! This pot holder is double thick, so it won’t burn your fingers or your counters.
This pattern uses a combination of the single and double crochet stitch to create a beautiful and easy colour work design. Since this pot holder is worked in the round, it’s easy to change colours and leave it for future rounds without fastening off. This means we only have 4 ends to weave in (2 for each colour)!
The pattern includes written instructions, step-by-step pictures, and a video tutorial to help you.
This pot holder is the second pattern in the 2023 Pot Holders Galore Crochet-along. With the purchase of an ebook, you will receive a total of 12 (+1 bonus) pot holder patterns (one pattern every month during the crochet-along). In December, you’ll receive the final pot holder, along with the bonus pattern.
