This crochet pattern is for a menswear sweater, with houndstooth crochet stitch stripes and textured stitch design. It is made with Aran weight yarns and a 6mm crochet hook, so it works up fast. The finished tension is soft and very comfortable to wear.

The garment is made as sperate front and back, sewn together. The collar is added directly to the body. Sleeves are made separately and sewn on. As it is an oversized shoulder, there is minimal shaping in the body. Sleeve do tape to a nice fit around the wrist.

There is a lot of stretch in the finished item, so the sizing is only approximate.
