This is a pattern for a large houndstooth tote bag with finished dimensions of a full sized bag being 12” tall (+handle) and has an approximate circumference of 37”. The pattern does have instructions for making the bag smaller or larger.

Gauge is not extremely important, but after the first 3 rounds it should measure about 3.25” across.

This pattern uses 2 primary colors and has an optional 3rd accent color.

Basic stitches of sc, hdc, dc, sl st, and reverse sc/crab stitch (only used for the top edging and could be left off or replaced if you don’t know it). The pattern carries the yarn up the inside so there won’t be a ton of ends to weave in.
