The Houndstooth Wallet is a classy and cute design that works for any occasion! Mix and match colors to fit your style! A small project that is perfect for stash busting those leftover little balls of yarn (the accent color only needs 35 meters!)

The pattern is an intermediate level, but might work well for adventurous beginners. The finished wallet measures approximately 9cm (3 ½’’) tall, 13cm (5’’) wide, and 2cm (¾’’) deep. It has 3 separate compartments (2 at the bottom, 1 at the top).

It’s made with two contrasting colors of a fingering weight yarn (147g/500m) and a 2mm (US Steel 4) hook. This pattern’s sample used approximately 120 meters (131 yards) of color A (base color), and 35 meters (38 yards) of color B. The pattern also includes photos to help you assemble your wallet!
