This is an improved version of my Hourglass Winter Hat pattern that can be found here for free. The updated version has, in addition to general pattern improvements, two new sizes; Toddler and Child. The toddler version comes with instruction for knitted earflaps with icord ties.

This is a stylish warm winter hat with a decorative hourglass pattern created by strategically placed slipped stitches. This hat is a great beginner cable project as it only uses simple cabling.

The pattern comes in four sizes, Toddler, Child, Youth/Women’s Small and Women’s Medium. The hat is close fitting and long enough to be pulled well down over the ears for those cold windy days.
