House Call
by Deb Boyken
For years, I used a canvas satchel as my knitting bag and loved just about everything about it. It held a ton of yarn. It stayed open—wide open—while I was knitting. It had a flat bottom so it never fell over. It had handles that were just the right length, so that I could loop it onto my shoulder or carry it easily in my hand. But, it wasn’t the most elegant knitting bag, and while Style should not necessarily win out over Substance, it never hurts to have some.
So, I decided to recreate it.
Size: 15” x 9” x 14”
Needed: 5 skeins EACH of two different colors of Cascade 220, wooden dowels for the framework, a magnetic snap--or alternative hardware of your choice!
