This is an easy pattern for a useful household cloth. I use them as countertop wipes, spill catchers, washcloths and hotpads. Never as dishcloths!! (But you can do it, of course)

Stitches used here are: chain, hdc, Fpdc and Bpdc. I don’t know how many yards one cloth uses, because I made them from odd balls of yarn.

I made most of them (and wrote the pattern, too) while watching some super hero movies with DD :)
