The inspiration for this pattern came from a graphic pattern I saw on a beautiful floor. I made sketches, erased them and made new sketches until I was happy with them. I´m not sure the pattern is anything like the floor I saw, but that really doesn´t matter. The imagination and inspiration flows in its own ways.
I´ve designed this pattern for two yarn weights. Which one you choose depends on what fabric you want. The choice is yours. Happy knitting!

Sport weight:
Yardage: 60g each of the contrasting colour and the main colour
Gauge: 26 sts per 10cm/4”
Measurements: 60-62 cm / 24” circumference, 27-30 / 10-11” height.
Needles: 3,25 mm US3 circular needle or the needle size you need to get gauge

DK weight:
Yardage: 60g each of the contrasting colour and the main colour
Gauge: 22 sts per 10cm /4”
Measurements: 58-60cm / 23” circumference,
27-30cm / 10-11” height.
Needles: 4 mm US6 circular needle or the needle size you need to get gauge

Inspirationen till min cowl kom från ett grafiskt mönster jag sett på ett golv. Jag ritade, suddade och ritade igen tills jag var helt nöjd. Om mönstret verkligen blev likt det jag inspirerades av vet jag inte, men det spelar egentligen ingen roll. Det räcker att fantasin får fart sen får den jobba på åt det håll den vill.
Jag har skapat cowlen i två olika garntjocklekar. Vilken du väljer beror på hur tjock du vill ha den.

Sporttjocklek (ca 300m/100g)
Garnåtgång: 60 gram vardera av bottenfärg och kontrastfärg.
Masktäthet: 26 m/10 cm
Mått: 60-62 cm runt om, 27-30 cm hög
Stickor: 3,25 mm rundsticka, eller den tjocklek du behöver för att få rätt masktäthet.

DKtjocklek (ca 200m/100g)
Garnåtgång: 60 gram vardera av bottenfärg och kontrastfärg.
Masktäthet: 22 m/10 cm
Mått: 58-60 cm runt om, 27-30 cm hög
Stickor: 4 mm rundsticka, eller den tjocklek du behöver för att få rätt masktäthet.
